Samara lodging rec's
Am looking into going to Samara in early '06. Would like to get some feedback on Hotel Belvedere vs Villas Kalimas vs Tico Lodge...seems to be a big price difference w/ Kalimas - is it worth it? Are there other hotels that you would recommend? Would like one that served at least breakfast.

We stayed in a house outside of Samara in Jan 2005...We are going back in August and thehouse we stayed in is booked so we are reserving an 8 day stay at Villas Kalimbas..I love the location in this wonderful seaside town and although we did not see the actual villas we checked out the site and it was impressive..If you search on this forum all the reviews of this property are very positive ....The rate for a week was very reasonable for a new hotel sitting 100 yards from the beach.I will post a report when we return.

We stayed in Villas Kalimba last summer and it was great. The villas are spacious, pretty, have full kitchen and are right across from the beach. They have conveniences such as air conditioning or ceiling fans etc, beautiful tile and lovely owners who aim to please...as you can see, we (3 of us) were very happy! If you have specific questions, let me know, Joyce

The website is www.villaskalimba.com; I contacted them through e-mail to make arrangements. Joyce
