Romantic Birthday Trip...

Parents are watching the kids - have free tickets anywhere Delta flies. Want to go somewhere romantic with an excellent beach! Want nice but don't want to eat beans for the next 6 months...Husband is turning 50 and we never had the honeymoon...Any suggestions - planning for April.

Rio de Janeiro would be my first choice. Stay in a hotel in Ipanema or Leblon. The beach and scenery is outstanding. With the US dollar stronger than the Real, you money will go a long way. There are many activies in Rio to keep you busy or you can just relax on the beach all day and have a nice dinner every night. The people are very friendly and love visitors. There are many affordable accomodations, but if you can spend the extra money stay at the Cesar Park in Ipanema. Good luck.

Delta flies from Atlanta to St. Martin. Stunning beaches, warm water and amazing French food. Rent a private villa for romance.
