Riu vs Iberostar?
Can anyone provide feedback on whether they prefer the Riu or Iberostar? Specifics on which facility (Riu Palace, Yucatan, Tequila, or Iberostar Tucan, Queztal) is best would be great. We are looking for an all inclusive with excellent food and lots of good drinks, preferrably beachfront.<BR>THANKS!!!

MY WIFE AND I VISTED THE IBEROSTAR LAST EASTER (2002) WE FOUND THAT THE ACCOMMODATION WAS VERY GOOD ALSO THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, WE ALSO VISITED THE HOTEL NEXT DOOR WHICH WAS THE RIU YUCATAN WHICH HAD OPTICS IN EVERY ROOM AND AN EXCELLENT MINI BAR WITH EVERY MIXER REPLACED ON A DAILY BASIS, ENTERTAINMENT IN BOTH HOTELS WAS NOT GREAT BUT MAYBE IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO SEE THE NIGHTLIFE OUTSIDE THE HOTELS BOTH HOTELS ARE ON THE BEACH AND THE IBEROSTAR IS VERY "JUNGLE" WITH ANIMALS ROAMING THE GROUNDS AND EVERY TROPICAL BIRD IMAGINABLE

Just returned on 1/19/03 from a week at the Riu Tequila,EXCELLANT food, great people, acutally can't say one negative thing, I picked this one, cause it was cheaper, than the one's on the beach, and a 2 minute walk across the street, the best thing is u get use of all 3 riu's.........
