reliable car rental company??

I am looking to rent a vehicle that fits 9 people. Has anyone done so themselves? What companies do you like to rent from when you go to CR. We would be renting from the airport, and driving to Dominical. I believe our rental house is up, up up and the road is probably dirt.

We've used Alamo with good results, have not rented anything that would fit that many people though. Tri-color is also pretty popular if you want to check with them.

Thanks volcano girl
We have decided that 2 4x4 vehicles would be best.
I've had contact with Tri color and have a quote.
I also had some very reasonable quotes on Orbitz for Dollar , ace, and alamo. Actually they seemed a little too good.
I decided to research car rentals in CR. Not a lot of good things to read about any of them! Many of the posts were dated so I'm looking for positive newer info.
Will I get a car that's in better condition if I rent from Dollar or Alamo? Anyone had
good experience with Tricolor? Adobe?

Thanks for sharing

I recommended an auto rental company in my trip report from several years back. If you zap my name, you'll find the report and that information. Good luck. ZZ
