I think you are asking about hispacar. If you use the search the forums box you will receive several references. I think they are totally reputable and are a broker. I went with autoeurope because of previous experience and because Maribel said so.

pdx,
LOL! I hope your experience with Autoeurope goes as smoothly as ours have gone. We have two upcoming rentals with them this month and two more with either Autoeurope or Kemwel in the summer. And have a really wonderful trip, BTW!

raypffong,
Do check the rates for your rental with www.autoeurope.com and their sister company, www.kemwel.com before deciding.

Watch out for Hispanic car and the rotating hubcaps.

We have good fortune with autoeurope as well.

Maribel, I am so excited I'm ready to crawl out of my skin and there is nothing to do about it but wait. I don't have to go back to work and I don't want to spend any more money shopping for the trip (save that for there) and I don't have any more packing to do and what else is there? Clean my house? What a drag. It's the joy of anticipation, the agony of the wait.
Apologies for the hijack, Ray.

Thank you for your responses. I have tried autoeurope on my last trip to Paris which was very good price. However, in Spain Hispanic cars is simply unbeatable!

raypffong,
Autoeurope and Kemwel have almost always matched or beaten the price quotes we've received from other agencies. But we've lately rented mainly in Madrid and the north (plus we had a 3 day US rental two weeks ago from Autoeurope).

Every rental is different, but I did just check www.hispacar.com for our upcoming two rentals in March just to compare rates with Autoeurope/Kemwel. For our particular rentals (and pick up/drop off location), Hispacar's rate was more than our A,E./Kemwell quotes.

But that may not be true for everyone.

pdx,
I share your excitement right now as I pack for our upcoming trip in a few days! Have a wonderful time in olive oil land!!

Happy travels to you, too, Maribel. You'll be up north?

pdx,
Unlike our usual "one region at a time" trips, We'll be all over the place. Overnight (free) at the Parador in Soria, then Pamplona and Navarran Pyrenees, then fly down to Valencia for Fallas (just found out!) then to the Rioja to "wallow in wine" (while you're "wallowing in olive oil"), then down to Madrid. Whew! That's why the two rentals with Autoeurope/Kemwel. They both serve us well in the north.

hey, Ray,
I just received a response from AE to a quote matching request which they honored. Our rental is going to cost $200 instead of $400. I sent in a quote from novacarhire.com
