Question for the ladies

We are going to be in Buenos Aires end of March, first week of April. I know that it will be fall there. SO, the big question is clothes! What are the do's and don'ts? I realize that during the day jeans, a comfortable pair of shoes and a light sweater is probably all that is needed, but how dressy do people get for going out to dinner?

Do people still wear summer like clothes if it's warm enough?..shorts, capri's, sandals?
For the men in the family can you comment how dressed up they need to be at night?
Thanks

Hi thevoigts
People from Argentinia are kind of formal when they go out. Women can wear a dress, or a nice pair of pants with a nice top. Sandals are ok too.
Don't wear jeans or sport shoes when you dine out!
Men are formal too. Pants and a shirt are fine. April is still warm there, a little cool at night.
If you go to BA it may rain often, so be ready for this.
Hopefully this will help you. I'm from Argentinia! Have a great time there!

Thanks for your response. I take it our 16 year old and 12 year old sons should bring nicer pants and shoes for night time?

I feel it depends on the level of the restaurant you go to for dinner.
