puerto vallarta in December
We are traveling to PV in December and have not yet decided where to stay. We will be 2 adults and 2 kids, ages 1 & 6. We usually rent a villa, but are considering the hotel experience. We are looking for a place with high end amenities and kid friendly and a nice swimming beach too. Any suggestions? I was looking at the Marriot Casamagna.

Both suggestions above are very nice. Costalegre is a bit of a drive from the PV Airport and probably is a bit more laid back with less adventures available. Not that your youngest would be interested in the flea markets, shopping, malecon, restaurants, etc., but your 6 year old probably will like the events of the Malecon in December in Centro PV. December is high season and by now there may be less availability. I think your children would like the hotel experience because there will be more families around to mingle with, especially in the pool.

I have been to P.V. in December and have stayed at the Marriott it is a great hotel in fact I think the best. I have stayed in quite a few of them. The weather is great and the Festival of Guadalupe is every night starting with Dec 1st and ending on the feast day of the 12th. It is quite an experience to see the parades and the devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. The children will be fine at the hotel the last time I was there they had a children's pool and activities for them. Have a great time I am leaving on the 4th of Nov this year, so sorry I will be missing the activities in December. Have a great trip and I am sure you will not regret going to the Marriott. any more information I can give you please email me @[email protected]
