Now is the time that everyone is beginning to plan their winter vacations. After living here 7 years, I have loads of tips, comments, ideas, information that I would be glad to share. Was a destination rep for many years for large tour operator so know most of the hotels in the area! Will try to answer ???s in a timely manner, but remember, this is on Mexican time! Gracias!

planning trip to puerto vallarta in Jan of 1999. Was there last year and stayed at Paradise Village Resort, had a very nice time. This year, thinking of Westin, Marriott or again Paradise Village. Also, going for longer time and would appreciate information on the jungle tours, whale watching, etc that are offered. Thanks

We are returning to Puerto Vallart in November. Though we have been there before, we have never taken the "Freindship Home Tour", "The Artist's Studio Tour or the The Sierra Madre Expedition". Please advise on their availability in November and please tell me what you think of each them. Also are there whales in the area in Nov.? We will again be staying at Paridise Beach Resort and Spa and there seem to be whale expeditions in that area.
I am planning a family vacation to PV for the week of Dec.11-19. I am concerned about the weather...( I like it hot)! Will it still be warm enough to sunbathe and swim? I was told that the average high in Dec. is 76 degrees F. That sounds a little cool to me. Also, do you know anything about the Paradise Villlage Beach Resort and Spa? It looks fantasic in the brochure, but I would appreciate an unbiased opinion. Oh, one more thing, I will be bringing my three year old twins. Are there any child-friendly attractions and restaurants in or around PV?
Pamela, Dont hesitate. Start packing. As you disembark from your air conditioned tour bus, you will be greeted by the nicest, spotless young men at the door, 24 hours a day. Your lobby will blow you away. As you enter you will see beautiful large lion heads, a fountain and more marble than you can imagine. And as you look up you will see a completely open lobby. The beach is well worth the extra it takes to get to centre town. I'm sure on the flight back home you will be saying to your husband, lets start planning to return next year. Enjoy

Sue

Hi all. A group of us (40) are traveling to the Dreams resort in Puerto Vallarta in October. My parents are also going and are avid golfers so I was going to book golf for them at the Vista Vallarta courses. First anyone played them? They appear to be pricey and wanted to find out if they are worth the money since I am not a golfer. Also, is it safe to bring your clubs? I know golf clubs are expensive and I would hate for them to be stolen traveling to or from Mexico. Your experiences would be greatly appreciated.
