I'm looking for some moderately to budget prices hotels/ resorts for a friend of mine who is visiting PV in March. Is anyone familiar with the following hotels: Puerto de Luna All Suites, Villas Vallarta, Los Tules Resort, Los Arcos Suites?
If you have any other properties you like that run $100.- US or less a night, please let me know.
I've checked reviews on several websites, although any personal experiences would be great!

These are hotels not resorts and all are in the "old town" or Zona Romantica, on or within a few blocks of the beach. All have websites.

HI WE HAVE STAYED AT THE PLAYA LOS ARCOS ON THE BEACH FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS.STRONGLY RECOMMEND A SUPERIOR ROOM.ITS CLEAN THEY PROVIDE BEACH TOWELS AND CHAIRS.DON'T GET THE INCLUSIVE BECAUSE OF THE MANY GREAT AND INEXPENSIVE REATAURANTS IN THAT AREA.WE LIKE THE HOTEL AT THE BEACH NOT THE SUITES,TEN MINUTES TO THE MALECON.MANY NON AGRESSIVE VENDORS AT THE BEACH

Good point above about Los Arcos properties--- there are 3 of them... one is right on the beach, the other two a couple blocks in nearby. They all share the same website.
