We are traveling to PV, staying at Casa Magna, with 2nd and 3rd grade daughters. Thought we would do the dolphin adventure, horesback riding see lion, etc. Is vallarta-adventure the best to use for those activities? Restaurants like Trio, Cafe des Artistes, etc looked good, other good recommendations? While the majority of the time spent at the hotel will be at pool, is the beach area safe? Leaving Sunday. Thank you.

apdiff- Casa Magna Marriott is a lovely hotel with a wonderful pool area. I'm guessing your kids will love it. Not sure about the beach. Those two restaurants you mention are certainly nice but pretty fancy for kids that young, I think.

Sorry, I don't know about that. But you might want to start a new thread yourself with PV, kids, Casa Magna in the title? Your questions are kind of hidden here at the bottom of BarbraR's thread from January. Suerte!

With kids that age i would take them to Pipi's for a dinner one night. It's livley and fun ( in a good way).
I was there with my nephew(12) and niece(5) and they just loved it.

I have heard that name twice and we will try to eat there, at least once. We were interested in knowing whether there is a tour operator (Vallarta Adventures) that could be suggested, somebody that could arrange horseback riding on the beach, swim with dolphins, tennis etc. I have tee times at Marina & Vista Vallart. Can the hotel concierge handle most of these requests?

Also curious what the average cost of a meal at one of the better restaurants that I have seen, Trio, Cafe des Artistes and any othera that are recommended.

They are similarly priced to the same level of restaurants in the U.S.

apdiff Getting back to your beach question there isn't muh of a beach at the Marriott but there is a small one. They also had a kid's club the last time I was at the Marriott which was last April. How about a Mexican Fiesta so many hotels have them I know the Sheraton does it's a lot of fun Music Dancing Food Good time Have fun and I know you will love the Marriott it's my favorite hotel in P.V.
