Persicco or Fredo

What is your favorite Argentine ice cream? Persicco or Fredo...or is there a third I have not yet considered?

Hi cmcfong

Another good one is Un Altra Volta
http://www.unaltravolta.com.ar/
Although for some reason the web page does not show it, there is a branch on Santa and Callao in Barrio Norte. (or at least there was in March when I had ice cream there.)

For a complete rundown on the many options for helado and bs Aires, check out Saltshaker's blog.

cmcfong: The same young man at the hotel that took us to Tigre ordered ice cream from Persicco for us and had it delivered to our room. Small containers of all kinds of toppings were included in the box and very large portions of very good ice cream. We were both practically rolling on the floor in our room after our "helado orgy!"
