In September (for my honeymoon) My fiance and I are flying Delta, out of Boston, changing planes in Atlanta and flying into Liberia Airport. We used www.roadslesstaken.com to book our 7 day trip.

My Fiance and i are going for our Honeymoon in Oct. We booked through AAA so we had them add the bus shuttle service to and from the resort to the airport. I have read lots of reviews and some have said the ride is about 50mins to an hour and a cab is about $60 one way. If you booked through an agency, and you don't mind being in a bus, i would try and add the shuttle to and from the resort. I can't remember how much it was to add the shuttle but i know it wasn't more than $100 both ways for the 2 of us (and was actually probably closer to 60-80 for the 2 of us both ways).

This drive is, as you say, right at one hour. You might be able to hire a taxi for about $40 bucks one way, and there should be plenty of them near the airport. Just a thought. I may be way off on what it would cost you. We paid $35 about a year ago for a taxi transfer of about 1.5 hour. I suppose all depends on the driver and how you are able to bargain with him.

Thank you for the replies! Paradisus quoted me $160 roundtrip for their shuttle - I thought this was high. So is getting a taxi at the airport totally safe - as long as it is a registered taxi with the triangle logo? Safety is my main concern - that is why I had inquired with the resort. I do speak spanish so will be able to negotiate with the taxi drivers - what do you recommend? THANKS AGAIN!!!
