I am playing a month vacation in Nicaragua for the month of April 2018. My husband and I want to spend a month renting in one location and are interested in learning to surf for the month and doing yoga practice at studios. We are not interested in a yoga/surf retreat because the price for a month is outrageous and it seems like we'd have more flexibility if we rent a house/condo for a month and cook own means and just buy surf lessons and month membership to yoga studios.

Looking for recommendations of part of Nicaragua to rent so that we can easily access surf/yoga within walking distance. Less interested in overly touristy/party places but open to it if that's where the surf and yoga is.

This has to be in Nicaragua? You are already decided on the destination for sure?

San Juan del Sur always will be more expensive that any other beach in the country but Leon is growing in services and activities so i do recommend to rent something in Leon and get clases there at las peñitas.
