Mazatlan
Need lots of information on Mazatlan. We are staying at the Sea Garden in a two bedroom condo. I realize this is away from town but how far away? We would proably be going out at night. How much would a taxi cost from here and how far is the ride? Also what are the best things to do in Mazatlan? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank-you

From Sea Garden to Hotel Zone it's about 20 minutes in bus, to downtown about 40 minutes. I don't know the taxi fare, but there are two buses running from the Sea Garden to downtown and Hotel Zone: Sabalo Cerritos and Sabalo Centro. The second one, has A/C.
What kind of things do you want to do?
You can visit Plazuela Machado on weekends, have dinner in some of the restaurant around, the sea food in Mazatlan it's excellent, try to eat lunch on Los Arcos ( Hotel Zone), or Pedro y Lola (Plazuela Machado)..
Let me know you're interested and I can give you more details of the area.

Caribbean Guy we are looking into going deep-sea fishing. Also just like to hang out by the pool and get some sun. At night we are proably looking to go out and eat and go to some really cool clubs. Also any side trips would be good. Heard about some Islands that would be worth visiting.

I am very interested in more info. My mother and I are going for one week to El Cid in Maz and I'd like to know what to expect to pay for the taxi from the aiport to hotel, and are there interesting things to do while we are there? I can't find much of anything. Did find a few ratings on El Cid

and about one resturant. Can you tell me more? I am 45 and my mother is in her 60's. We are intersted in rest, relaxation, great fun and some sight seeing. Thanks much

It's THE site to visit prior to a trip to Mazatlan.
$25 USD each way from the airport.
