May trip refined

Thanks to all the nice folk that post here I have almost settled on an itinerary for a trip next May.
May 23 Sat - Arrive SJO 3:30pm private driver to MA, Villa Mot Mot.
May 24 - MA - Horseback ride
May 25 - MA - Mangrove Swamp
May 26 - MA - MA Park
May 27 - MA - Zip line
May 28 - MA to Peace Lodge
May 29 - Peace Lodge
May 30 - Peace Lodge to SJO depart 12:05

I have confirmed reservations at Villa Mot Mot but just an acknowledgement of my request at Peace Lodge. Do they not confirm?
Please make suggestions as how to change/improve this trip. Thanks

Take me with you!

Peace Lodge does confirm, but they are notoriously slow to respond. I sent them a second e-mail after waiting 3 days, and then they were able to confirm with me. If you have time, Poas Volcano is near Peace Lodge and worth seeing; go early a.m. for best chance at viewing it before the mist rolls in.

Thank you volcanogirl. We here in Corpus Christi pray for you up there.

One another point. I've not found a good (inexpensive) driver for the trip to MA and back. Suggestions please

It sounds like a perfect trip! We loved Villa Mot Mot and Peace Lodge too! I think May is a great time of year to go. Be sure to spend sime time at the beach at Tulemar as well, it's really nice there. As a matter of fact, we never made it to the National Park, just the private beach.

For a driver, we just Wilson Rojas on our past trip and found him to be great. His email address is: [email protected] if you're interested. We have also driven ourselves and enjoyed that as well.

As volcanogirl mentioned, Peace Lodge is definitely slow with the emails. Be sure you're using the email address on their website for the reservation requests and not the general information one. [email protected] And be sure to check your spam folder. They definitely confirm your reservations with a detailed quote - be sure you get one or you're not confirmed.

Thanks, daleb; I think we are slowly but surely getting back to normal. Have a wonderful trip!
