my wife and I stayed there in 2001. We were very pleased with it then--of course it is now 7 years later. The location is very good and we were treated very well there. During our stay, my wife had a fall and needed some medical attention and the hotel was very responsive, getting her a doctor and following up. No complaints

We've stayed there on both our trips, last time our TA had us upgraded to a suite, very nice. Great location, friendly service and if you like historical hotels, it's very interesting. Plus, there's a great bar/lounge in the hotel that we've very much enjoyed!
The only complaint (which isn't really a complaint), is that a lot of tour groups use the hotel, so you do tend to get those "tour group people" staying there too (but they don't bother me
