Mosquitos a problem in Arg/Chile/Brazil in Jan?

Anyone have any info regarding whether mosquitos will be a problem in Argentina, Chile and Brazil in January? And, if a problem, what's the best option to protect oneself?
Thanks!

Yes in Argentina, especially near water. For example, if you go to Buenos Aires you'll be fine, but if you go to the Delta or farms, there will be mosquitos all day long.

Best thing that I do?

Wear clear clothes, don't stand still and use repellers as Off (especially the green one)

Regards
Javier
