Manuel Antonio Hotel

The hotel I planned to stay at in Manuel Antonio just informed me they are closing for repairs/rennovation. I was so looking forward to staying there because of the location, the property and the price. Any recommendations for a nice, comfortable, clean and reasonably priced hotel? I will be there May 9th thru 12. Price wise $50usd to $80usd? Thanks to all ~

I liked the looks of Hotel Mono Azul (The Blue Monkey) when we stopped in for a drink. It was a "fun" atmosphere, centrally located, nice pools, clean & gets good reviews. Unfortunately, we did not stay there (wish we had). Their price was in that range for a quad room at the height of the holiday season.

The hotel where I previously stayed was: Hotel Kekoldi in Manuel Antonio. Good Rooms, quiet, clean, acoss the street from Aqua Azul (fantastic place for drinks and a burger or whatever else they are cooking that day), 2 minute walk to Cafe Milagro, about a 5 minute walk to Si Como No. AND all for $55 usd!!!

Why dont you look into Didis Charming B&B($45 next to La Colina, or Casa Buena Vista on the same road as Makanda($50), or even La Colina, approx.$55.

Faithie,
I am staying at Didi's in Feb. It looks like a really cute place and get's good reviews on trip advisor. Have you stayed there? Just wondering if I am going to have the good experience that I am anticipating. Thanks

My sis stayed there. She loved it, owners are super. Great food. Sweet looking spot, could be noisy during day, but you wont be there and MOST hotels are near a road anyway, it sits higher than the road somewhat nestled in the jungle.
