Manual Antonio in April
I am planning on spending a couple of days in Manual Antonio - actually arriving on Sunday afternoon and leaving on Tuesday in the morning. Just realized the park is closed on Mondays - Is there anything I can do there if I cannot go into the park? Another question I have is regarding the Zip lines - is it better to do it in Arenal or in Manual Antonio as I see it is offered in both places. Any tips would be welcome....

You can go sailing, do a mangrove tour, zip, or go horseback riding. I would do the zipline at Sky Trek in Arenal because they have some of the highest, longest lines in the country, but people do go at MA and enjoy it.

There are both, but the prettiest one is inside the park. If you can, try to go on Sunday. The park is the best thing about MA - very pretty beach, and most of the wildlife is concentrated there.

Depending on where you stay in MA, you may get to see some of the wildlife even if you can't make it into the park, but I agree with VG that the park is the highlight of the area. The second beach inside is really nice.
The Sky Trek ziplines in Arenal were a lot of fun! I would try to do them if you can.
