Lime Flavored Peanuts from Cozumel

Just returned from Cozumel with a suitcase full of "Mafer" brand peanuts. They are addictive lime coated peanut snacks. I would love to find a source in the US for these snacks as once a year just doesn't satisfy our craving. Anyone aware of either a retail source or an Internet source for this brand of peanut? Thanks

If you live someplace that has a large Mexican population they shouldn't be too hard to find (larger Texas cities, NM, Arizona, Calif). Mafer is not the only brand that makes the lime peanuts, they are as common here in Cozumel as the flavored chips you get in the states. Try a Mexican market or maybe an import food shop.

Look for cacuhuates japonesas con limon in any Mexican oriented store.

Thanks CozAnnie, I know there are lots of brands in the grocery stores in Cozumel - just spent 3 weeks there, but the Mafer brand are the very best. I really thought there might be an Internet source for these. Seems to be one for everything else.

We do have a large Hispanic population here in (believe it or not) St. Paul, Minnesota, so I'll give a look in the markets there.

Thanks all.
