last minute trip to Cabo...need help!
Long story short: my daughter and I are going to zip to Cabo for 3 days. We want to be on or at least near the beach, and we want to be able to take REALLY long walks, too. (we are training for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer next month). Any hotel recommendations......at least 3 star.

There are just so many choices in this area, it would help to have some more info. Do you want quiet, nightlife, large, small, near the bustle of town or further away.
If you don't mind a very quiet hotel with a beautiful but non-swimmable beach, I highly recommend the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica.

On the beach and long walks ... no problemo ... check out this map ... http://www.loscabosguide.com/maps/cabomap-section-d.htm ... one of the hotels in the top-right corner on Medano Beach is perfect for what you describe.
For a really nice, long (safe) walk start from your hotel (say the Melia or Pueblo Bonito) and walk south past the Hacienda, then up the road by the marina and follow the marina walk all the way around the marina past the Tesoro Los Cabos to Av. Solmar and follow this up to the Solmar hotel, then thru their lobby to the beach and walk up to the Finisterra and thru their lobby back to the marina and retrace your steps.
Should take an hour or so each way with plenty of variety.
