Las Palmas-Vs-San Marino Plaza

Any news about which is currently better? Have read some pretty nasty things about the Las Palmas recently which is being blamed on the EX-owners but problems still persist.Only bad thing I've heard about the San Marino is that it's old?
HELP!

I stayed in December last year, i wouldnt say i had any problems, but definetly won't stay there again. food and drinks were horrible! Iin my opinion anyways, but i did hear other people complaining. maybe its better now, but im sure not taking any chances again.

San Marino doesn't appear any older than most of its neighbors that line the beach in the south part of town.
