Land's End/Los Arcos in Cabo San Lucas

Is it necessary to get a tour to see Los Arcos, or to hire a boat?

I've heard about water taxis from the pier. Is this another way to see it ? Will I be able to spend a little time on Lover's Beach ? Do these water taxis run on a regular, basis ?

I'd appreciate input and suggestions. Thanks.

You should be able to get a water taxi to take you to Lover's Beach. Let them know when you want to come back and they will pick you up. I haven't spent time on the beach but it looks like it could get pretty hot. There is very little shade.
I would probably try to get there earlier in the day.

Another fun way to see the arch is to rent jet skis. You wouldn't be able to spend time on the beach though.

There is no food, water or rest room on Lover's Beach, but there are always water taxis going from there to the shoreline.

Dear banares:

The water taxis/pangas are everywhere. Do not worry about finding one. They will all be trying to get your business. Do some research and make sure you don't pay too much. I can't recall the price per person. Tripadvisor forum has lots of Cabo advice.

Good luck and have fun.

You can take a glass-bottomed boat tour which will go by Land's End -- you can watch the tropical fish thru the glass.

If you want to stay on the beach for a while you can hitch a ride on a water taxi and stay a while, I think it cost only $5 or so a few years ago.

Just returned from Los Cabos. Did a 2.5 hr. sunset dinner cruise (drinks + pretty decent appetizers $49/person). Was totally worth it to get up close to Los Arcos-watch the surf break from behind; see whales by our boat. Nice experience. If you're going in the near future - dress warm - it gets cool at night and even cooler on the water!
