Argentina is a wonderful and a very reasonable place to visit. The people are lovely - the hotel service is the best I've exerienced in the world (I'm writing this from Argentina). The food is extremely good - a great value. Please do come as the country needs tourism!

Only one note - do be careful with your wallet/purses. The paper today said the unemployment is 25% with 60% poverty. So as with any country/city - particularly with this type of economy - there is a lot of street crime. My husband had his wallet grabbed within an hour of our arriving in the city. Don't let this deter you - just be exceptionally aware.
