Information on renting a villa in CR

Trying to plan a trip in November to Costa Rica. Will be a first time to visit there. 8 ppl total in the party. Looking for tips on where to stay and where to rent a villa. Maybe a good site or contact. Dont want something to overly priced. Any other tips and suggestions are apperciated. Thanks!

We visited Costa Rica with 3 other families and rented 2 large houses in Manuel Antonio through vrbo.com. It worked out great!

For 11 people we rented two Casas at Buena Vista Villas, on the Tulemar property near Manuel Antonio, for July. I haven't been there yet, so can't say much, other than that they look very nice and get good reviews on this forum.

Here's another site you might be interested in, although I think all the properties are pretty pricey.

You don't say what you want to do on your trip or what you specifically want to see. Are you looking for a combo beach/"rain forest" experience? Are you interested in the city at all (can't imagine why!)? Do you want to go to one place and stay put or travel several points of interest in CR?
