Well the agent I was talking to was insistent on 3-day trip instead of 2-days, even if I didn't go to the Brazil side. So I told him I would do it another time, when I had a chance to get a VISA.
I see there are services online which will "rush" you a VISA if you pay enough. Not interested in doing that.

You might try TA Silvia Moore at Argentina Tours 4U at www.argentina2rs4u.com.ar or Tel/Fax: (54-11) 4737-1034 (she speaks English). She did an excellent job for us in Argentina and is related to friends so came highly recommended. She arranged airport transfers to hotels, internal air tickets which she emailed to various hotels, and hotels. I would recommend staying at the Sheraton in the natioanl park if you do decide to go to Iguazu--especially if you go for a short trip. She arranged a two night stay at Iguazu for us in late Aug. and it is well worth the time and money.
