If you are heading to Mexico....

The new Bon Appetit just arrived and this month Mexico is featured! The whole issue is devoted to wining and dining in Mexico!! Can't wait to get into it! Looks very promising.

Well, you are definitely in luck! There are several restaurants in San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato featured in the magazine. A good article on the colonial cities--not enough pictures!

I made a list from the magazine for restaurants. We are most likely staying at the Casa Sierra Nevada. The articles did make us very excited about going.

They can be found on Epicurious.com. I don't know if they carry current articles on the site, but it is a great site for recipes and cooking information.

I picked it up today at lunch and spoke a fair amount of the afternoon sneaking peeks at the office. What a wonderful issue!

We got it yesterday and it is great. We too are going to Mexico - 5/6-11. However, were going to Cancun and there aren't any restaurants featured there. Does anyone have any suggesions for Cancun restaurants. I was so suprised to see so many Italian restaurants listed?? Thank you. B

I haven't eaten at Bisquets Obregon in Cancun, but I always go there for breakfast when we're in Mexico City. There's one close to the zocalo. I love their cafe con leche - they pour in a little coffee (you say when) and then a lot of hot milk right at the table. But my favourite is the toasted bisquet spread with cajeta. Simple, but wonderful!
