Honeymoon Help!!!
We are getting married on December 1, 2007, in Manuel Anontio, C.R. We plan on then traveling the countrysid ro 10 days. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we should go.
As the groom it is my burden to plan the honeymoon and I can't come up with anything. Any suggestions as to where we should head?

I think it depends upon what you're interested in and what you like to do, but we loved the Lost Iguana in Arenal - seeing the active volcano from our balcony was amazing, going to the hot springs, going on the Cano Negro tour to see the wildlife - there's also ziplines at Skytrek there.
The Osa Peninsula has Bosque del Cabo which is amazing and wild and full of toucans, monkeys, scarlet macaws, swimming with wild dolphins - really neat.
And we also love the Peace Lodge for a couple of nights - really posh property with 5 waterfalls you can hike to on the property, CD players, DVDs, hummingbirds that you can hand feed, nocturnal frog tours - it's a super indulgent over the top place that I would have loved on my honeymoon. If you post your interests or the areas that interest you, you'll get tons of feedback.
Where are you getting married in MA? Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

Volcanogirl has given some excellent suggestions to consider.
There was also a trip report here earlier this year from someone who had gotten married in CR and spent their honeymoon there. I believe the poster's name was CRIdo. The report was well written and they had a wonderful time. If you do a search on CRIdo, you should be able to find the link.

The drive should probably take about 4 to 4.5 hours, not including any stops you might make along the way.
The Peace Lodge is a great honeymoon choice! Will you try to add one more destination to your itinerary as well? Arenal would be one terrific option to consider (although there are others as well...).
