help with logistics
my one daughter cannot leave for Argentina with the rest of us - she will be arriving on Dec. 22nd on United. She has 3 hours to make it through customs, get her suitcase and take a taxi to the other airport in Buenos Aires for a flight to Iguassu-scheduled for that day at 12:55. Does this sound feasible or should we change our reservations to Iguassu and stay in Buenos Aires one more day.
I really need help figuring this out. I don't mind getting her a driver to take her from one airport to the next but I'm worried about her making the connection. Any thoughts anyone?

I've conencted from international to domestic flights with the change of airports in Buenos Aires, and I'd say that might be pushing it. I've done it in less than three hours but I've also had it take more than three. Much depends on the United flight arriving on time and on traffic. (EZE is a long way from the city.) I'd say if you want complete peace of mind about it, stay in BA the extra day.

It depends on what time and day of the week she arrives. It can take 1.5 to 2 hours in peak hour just to get from Ezeiza (Intl.) to Aeroparque (domestic) not to mention Argentina's hopeless and frustrating immigration queues. We flew into BA twice from Australia & Lima and each time the wait was horrendous!

You don't mention where in the US she will be flying from. It there is a chance of snow and the plane being deiced, delayed ( or even canceled) there could be a problem. Why not remove the stress and stay the extra day in BA. I plan to arrive in BA from NJ in late January and fly the next day to Iguazu. I'm taking no chances!!
