Help with honeymoon.

Hi i'm new here and heard Costa Rica is a great place for spending a honeymoon. We are getting married in March and would like to hear your opinion about where to stay and what to see.
Thanks

First of all I’m very happy for you both. A honeymoon in CR is the best start you could ask for.
I spent my honeymoon there, and I can recommend a few locations.
Hotel Lands in Love- up in the mountains, overlooking the amazing cloud forest,This place was the most romantic location we stayed at. The staff is great, took care of every need we had, the rooms are clean and cozy with every thing you could ask for and the food was the best in CR. definitely a must see.

Hotel Southland Guanamar in playa Samara- very beautiful and romantic hotel near the beach. A romantic good place for couples, and not very expensive.
Totem Cabinas in Puerto Viejo- an amazing place very close to the Caribbean beach, warm hospitality and beautiful rooms. A bit more expensive but hey, this was our honeymoon…

Don't forget to save time just to relax, this is the best thing you could do in a honeymoon, and CR is famous for providing that.
Always mention that you are on your honeymoon, every place has special offers and honeymooners are always welcome.

GIMcGuire,
Interesting to hear you mention Totems Cabinas. We had dinner there last July and the food was excellent. I'd seen that place numerous times passing by--on my bicyle!--but hadn't realized just how nice it was. I had wondered about the hotel and guessed it to be pretty special if on a par with the restaurant. Now we know! Thanks for sharing that information. Good location as well. . . .
