Yes, the rain is starting early this year. We (in Nosara) even had a couple storms in March! It was very, very welcome!
But, it's not supposed to be as rainy as last year, thank goodness!
Glad it didn't rain on your vacation! Did your friend book his last minute flight? Bet he was sorry if he did'nt

Recently met a lady who knows you. She does yoga at Harmony Hotel. Jane? Can't remember last name, but she knows Jill R. at Ama Tierra and her husband, also. Determined to make it to Nosara this year or next!! I'll let you know. . .would love to get together!

It's definitely the transition period between dry and rainy seasons now. These short, sudden showers are coming up with some rumbles of thunder, but nothing that would interfere with anybody's vacation. The yiguirro bird (clay-colored thrush) is singing quite loudly these days. That's always a sign that the dry season is coming to an end.
