Guanajuato-ideas for rehearsal dinner

My son is getting married in Guanajuato in late November and I would love to have a recommendation for a restaurant that can accommodate around 60 people or some place where we could gather & have it catered. I would be interested in either option if anyone has any thoughts or ideas. I would probably prefer local cuisine but am open to anything. Thank you!

I'm not sure about this, but I really liked the restaurant Casa Valadez which is right on Jardin de la Union. It is large but not that large, as far as I know. But their website says they have a wedding planner and do catering, and they could maybe suggest a site? Their food is terrific. IF you look in their photogallery, the photo no. 15 looks like a wonderful place for such a thing. Maybe it's a wedding reception, though.

I presume your son or his fiancee is fluent in Spanish to deal with them?

Thank you very much! Yes, my son is fluent in Spanish and his fiancee is from Leon. I will look further at Casa Valadez. I appreciate your suggestion!

oh, good, I just suspect they aren't fluent in English given their website is only in Spanish. I ate breakfast there several times but I speak Spanish so am not sure. For the fotogaleria, the first one is only 6, but if you click on the catering service link (Mezzecocco or something), then click on fotogaleria, you get 70 photos, and many show wonderful places and settings.
