Galapagos Cruise - No Single Supplements?
Does anyone know of any first-class boats that book single travelers without a supplement? I'm willing to share with another woman. I love the layout and offerings on the Athala, but they charge a 75% supplement.
Thanks!

I have the same problem from a male point of view. All the boats want the price of two people for each room. Also watch out for a room with no windows even though you are paying a higher rate. I am a first time traveler to the Galapagos but my girlfriend can’t travel with me because of her schedule. I wrote eight tours with the same question as yours. Good luck.

Galapagos Travel does not make you pay a SS if you are willing to share and if same sex cabin-mate materializes.

They carry up to 16 passengers. I went twice with them, once with a friend and once solo. I ended up alone in the cabin and paid no SS, except at the hotel the days before and after the cruise.
I'll be going with them again someday.
Barry Boyce, the owner of the agency has a good book, Traveler's Guide to the Galapagos. Worth picking up regardless of the company you book with.
