Susanna, Did that price include all your taxes and fees? When I looked up random dates on Mexicana, it started around that price and ended up closer to $950.

Seek: Yes, it did!!! I think that 950 from SF is also a good price. I had been looking at prices int he 1500 range. We are going in Feb, so maybe it depends when you are going...I bought them in October 08.

Well my favorite airline is the one that will NOT land in the Hudson River. Sorry, I could not resist.

Thanks Susanna, What a deal! We are still so early. But, if I have to buy a ticket and not use FF miles, then I'll look to Continental or a United partner. It's like 16,000 miles RT from SFO. Is Mexicana partners with anyone?

Too bad you can't layover in Mexico City! That city can be amazing if you know where to stay and go.

Hi, Just re-read my post and want to say that when I wrote 16,000 RT, that's a good thing! In my opinion, when you are trying to accumulate miles on a trip with so many miles, it's worth a little extra money to buy the ticket that will give you miles on your FF plan.

I haven't flown Continental in years, but it's my 'common denominator' FF plan and I also fly EVA and Alaska, both of them Continental partners and put those miles on my Continental FF number.
