DIY walking tours
I am looking for a book/ other source of detailed walking tours, without a tour guide. I'd like maps and detailed instructions on where to walk, with descriptions of stops on the way. Suggestions?

They have excellent walking tours but you have to make reservation on some of the tours because as good as they are many people use them. Good luck if you need more help just drop me a line.

Weaselboy,
Vivir has provided a great link. They give 10 self guided routes. You just have to keep looking (I have had to split the complete link in 2 as it does not fit on page..

And even the online Fodor's guide has a few walking tours.

Anyway - Buenos Aires is a great city to
walk around in. Have a great trip
