currency exchange

where do i best currency exchange??? in th u.s. before i leave..at the airport in mexico...an atm in mexico or a bank in mexico.

The best rates, the nicest shop, the least hastle - what?

You will get better exchanges in Mexico. if you are talking about the airport In Mexico City you can get a fairly good rate, check the rate at several of the airport casas de cambio because there can be a big difference. Banks will give you the best exchange although it can really be a hassle. Overal using an ATM will get you the best rate, next changing cash, worst travelers checks. I usually bring cash that I change at the best rate I can find then use my ATM.

I don't know what the best exchange rate is, but I believe that you can get the best deal at an ATM in the destination country.
