Just wanted some feedback on whether this is a good deal or not (esp. the quality of the hotel)? Has anyone booked with Latin Escapes before?

Expensive for Costa Rica, this package is based on double occupancy, the cheapest is $599pp x 2 = 1,988 for lodging and car only not included taxes insurance gaz food park fee entrances activities etc., I suggest you buy yourself a guide book, make an itinerary, look on the internet for car rental prices only and hotel prices you'd be surprise how fun it is doing it and how cheap. Enjoy.

when you consider the x2price it is pretty expensive.

I am always leary of open vouchers. I had a bad experience with them while traveling around europe. Very few of the hotels on the list had rooms available.

depending on when you are traveling, you could run into availability problems for sure in cr. Many of the hotels listed are very nice and very popular. 6-7 years ago it might not have been a problem but costa rica has definitely been "discovered".

Would this be a good deal considering that flights from LAX in August are going for about $650 versus airfare, lodging, and rental car for $889?
