Costa Rica restaurant suggestions

We will be in Costa Rica this spring and are fixed in our lodging...Clarion Amon Plaza in SJ, El Establo in Monteverde, and Arenal Lodge. Any recommendations re restaurants near those locations? We aren't looking for fancy surroundings or linen napkins necessarily, just good meals. Thanks for any help!

The restaurant at El Sapo Dorado is good- formal- great views.
best restaurants in Monteverde are Sophias, Lucias and Morphos!

Thanks! Any experience with Bakea, Cafe Mundo, or Cafe del Teatro Nacional in San Jose?

Haven't eaten at Bakea, but would like to as I've heard good things. We enjoyed Cafe Mundo a couple of years ago. Also, there are some good restaurants very near to Amon Plaza at El Pueblo. Hop a taxi over there one evening--several restaurants, bars, artisan shops, etc.
