Percy and Nicabobby: thanks for correcting me. Sorry for my English, sometimes I canīt find the real words to say something, yes I means he was excecuted. As per the colors of the flag and the reason to have 2 last names and 2 more names for Oscar Arias...I would love to know it... Thanks for helping

Names and last names....why 2 of each!
Why I have no idea but it is a tradition. Everybody has two names and two last names and that is their official name in all legal documents. Father's last name comes first, followed by mothers' maiden name.
Using more than 2 names is also quite common. I was baptized, get ready..so my baptism certificate reads:
Miguel, Geronimo, Jose, Gerardo Cuadra Navarro, there you have 4 names and first my father's last name followed by my mother's maiden name.
On my birth certificate last two names were dropped and I became Miguel Geronimo Cuadra Navarro.
Then i became a US citizen and became Miguel Cuadra-Navarro.
Did you read the post about women using their maidem name followed by DE and husband's last name. This is an old traditions that is dying pretty fast and some more liberated women are keeping their name from when they were single.
