Chile/Easter Island

Have received fantastic advice from members of this board in the past. Will be in Chile and Easter island for a month in Jan. Any good reccomendations on restaurants or food please? We do have an itinerary..but have lots of freedom. Hope to hear from you!!

My favorite on EI was Restaurant Pea which is over the water near the little port area. (AV Policarpo Toro).

Liz & Rich,

Where did you stay on Easter Island? I enjoyed your blog, but I missed the name of your hotel. Would you recommend it?

Thanks!

Mister Aviator - we stayed at Hotel Manavai

http://www.hotelmanavai.cl/

It was fine - the rooms are very basic but clean - the walls are varnished particle board which looks a little odd at first but just becomes part of the charm!

Happy to answer any other questions.

Thanks for the link to the Hotel Manavai. We ended up staying at the Hotel Tauraa:

And considering the limited options on the island, It was fantastic! Delicious breakfast and friendly on-site owners who truly care about the happiness of their guests.
