Car Rental in Panama

My group of five will be renting a car to drive to Boquete. We are staying at the Country Inn and Suites. I would like to have the car delivered to the hotel to spare my husband the drive through Panama City traffic. Has anyone done this recently? If so, from which company did you rent? How would you rate your experience?

Thank you.

Lots of traffic in PC but orderly. Not like driving in Asia. We drove from Bocas del Toro to Chiriqui. Roads two lane but fine. Hard to get lost, few choices. PanAmerican highway is being made 4 lanes so lots of construction there. We used hired driver but self-driving seemed ok. There are police/army checkpoints so use safety belts and have papers available.
Panama is fantastic. Do go to the wonderful beaches.

In PC go to Casco Viejo and then eat at Fish Market (tip...eat in area closest to water) Must see Biosphere Gerry museum. We took cabs but if you have car there is parking at the museum.

We stayed at Intercontinental Miramar. Great views, huge sunny pool, good staff, professional hotel.

Make sure you register your rental car confirmation with AutoSlash.com. They will continue to look at prices for you and will notify you and rebook if they find a lower fare for you.
