Car and driver for Yucatan

Can anyone suggest where to hire a driver and car for the Yucatan?

I'm not sure why you need one - driving in this part of Mexico is quite easy, and very safe. You could also use a taxi, or public transportation. Of course there are bus tours also available.

Sox, out of the airport, you head south on the highway, which is as good, if not better than many highways in the states. The towns and resorts are all on the left and it's a really easy drive. The only reason I would hire a driver is if you plan on going to the resort and not leaving, which I don't recommend. Hope that helps.

Tks for the directions out of the airport! We intend to drive to several ruin sites while making Merida our base. We will stop at Chiten Itzen for the night and then on to Merida.
