Cancun or Cozumel?
Have been in Puerto Vallarta twice...would like to stay on the other side for a cleaner ocean...want all inclusive,on a good beach, adults only, (I work at a school & I love kids, but at Christmas I need PEACE and QUIET) Good beach for swimming , close to shopping, do not want a resort any bigger than 300 rooms....any suggestions? Where to stay? Thanks!

Presidente Intercontinental Cozumel.
NOT Cancun at Christmas. We went once. Kids galore and crowds everywhere...
I believe the hotel has 250+ rooms - laid out very well. Great beach, mostly adults.
The only AI I hear good things about on Cozumel is the Allegro, but there are others I'm sure.
I would never recommend an AI on Cozumel - too many fantastic restaurants...

Totally agree with Nancy. No AL needed on Cozumel. Great restaurants. You might also like Hotel Playa Azul - near the new golf course, beautiful beach. I don't believe any place is "adults only" on Cozumel, but we've never been bothered by kids unless its spring break.

No adults only in Cozumel, at least not yet.
I like Iberostar the best but is quite a way out of San Miguel.
El Dorado Resort and Spa, El Dorado Royale, Royal Hideaway and Adventura/Spa Palace are Adults only in the Mayan Suncoast Area.
Royal Hideaway is the closest to Playa Del Carmen and shopping, but since it is AAA 5 Diamond, it is expensive.
El Dorado has daily shuttle to PDC and El Dorado Royale has daily shuttle to Cancun.
You can view pictures of all at www.wiredflyer.com
click on the state nearest you and any agencies web address.
All Wired Flyer Agencies specialize in this area.

Aw shucks, dougout, thanks! (I'm usually getting flamed, so it's nice to get a kudo!)
We like:
La Cocay, Prima, El Moro, La Choza, Sonora Grill, Guido's for dinner.
Diamond Cafe, Plaza Leza, Pancho's Backyard, Mezcalito's for lunch.
Museum Cafe for breakfast.
But there are so many more!
