Cala Luna CR Questions
Looking at the property for a visit to include 2 children under 6.
anyone stay in their 2 or 3 BR villas. If so, are the pools at each villa in fact private for each villa?
How close is the beach and is it appropriate for swimming and walking?

Yes every villa offer a private pool...nice... kind of small but nice...lovely place...most of the time you have to go across the Hotel Cala Luna...by the main pool and then to the beach...I like that beach in low tide...some small natural pools...just perfect to seat with children...when my kids were small we seated there for hours!!

The ocean is just a couple minute walk from the resort. Have you considered Capitan Suizo too? They are nearby and a big favorite of many. The beach is great for walking and you can find plenty of places to wade and swim. It is a surfing and fishing beach too so you'll see a mix of activities taking place depending upon the tide, etc. When the tide is out, it is an easy walk to town.

yes, the villas have a private, small pool but children will prefer the hotel pool.
the hotel is decorated in great taste, is a really nice option. there are differences between capitan suizo and cala luna: cala luna is located in playa langosta and capt suizo in Tamarindo. tamarindo is a nicer beach than langosta. but cala luna is more of a happening place than capt suizo, let;s say it is the nature of italians from Cerdena against the swiss.
