We stayed there in Feb-place is gorgeous-spectacularly buile into the mountain and by the sea. it is no where near a town-we rented a car-taxis cost alot. I doubt if you want to try any transportation lower than that-I doubt iuf you would like it. The closest town is San Jose del Cabo-which has some excellent restaurants.

Have stayed there but not recently. Will be there again in three weeks. As of last trip, no shuttle. Only way to get to town was a cab and very expensive. Basically, you are stuck at the Westin because it is in the middle of nowhere and no reason to travel to town on a daily basis. It is a beautiful place to be stuck as long as you are not looking for a great beach - won't find it there. Can't be too bad a place or we wouldn't be going back - right?

Got to watch out for the effing timeshare there.
When I first arrived at the Westin the first thing that entered my mind was Built by Leggo. It is an archetectural lego set.
Nice setting, nice pools, but ultra modern , hell might as well be in Miami, Yeah every time I ordered a drink I could here the money being sucked out of my wallet and up that big long tube of an elvator. A money extraction machine.
Have a good one.
