Cabo questions

We're been to Cancun and Cozumel several times but never the western side of Mexico, We're heard a lot about Los Cabos and need some information. We're looking for an all inclusive. While searching, sevreal areas came up...Los Cabos, San Jose and the Corridor.

Can someone please explain these different area and why one would be better than the other. We're looking to stay 7 days and would like to be fairly close to shopping, etc. Would like a resort with a swimming and snorkeling beach, pretty grounds and relaxing atmosphere. It doesn't necessarily need to be adult only but would prefer one that didn't cater mainly to familes.

How is the weather and temp in May? Any and all info appreciated. Thanks

If you check a map you will better understand. The airport serves both the towns of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. "The Corridor" is the stretch of coastline in between these two places where many of the resorts are located.

If you want to be "fairly close to shopping, etc." I'd recommend Cabo San Lucas. Any of the resort hotels along Medano Beach would be good.

Next problem is though none of them are All-Inclusives. That's just not that big in the Los Cabos area. The closest to downtown is the two RIU properties. Then Dreams.

There's some more high-end ones over in San Jose del Cabo but that is more isolated, not like you'll be walking to shops, restaurants, clubs off-property.

Oops, meant to clarify "Los Cabos" is the term that refers to the entire section including the two towns. Cabo San Lucas is the main town with the most tourist ammenities. San Jose del Cabo is the smaller of the two.

There's not too many people who post at Fodor's & go to Cabo, just a couple of us. So you might want to also check in at the *Trip Advisor* Cabo destination forum. It's incredibly busy and very friendly there.

The Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Holistic Resort is adult only. It is located on the Pacific side of the cape and really beautiful. It is not AI and the water not swimmable due to riptides & undertow.

Agree with Suze to check out Tripadvisor forum for Los Cabos. Much more active with great recs.
