Has anyone stayed at Cabanas la Conchita? It looks great, 9 huts on the beach. Any recomendations for something similar anywhere in Mexic0?

I have a friend who is getting married there in April. We have not been there yet, but they have been helpful by email and it looks very nice online. I could let you know when I return in May, if that is not too late.

Marnie -- We stayed there last year and loved it. In fact, we are scheduled to return in about a week. My husband and I have been traveling to the Tulum area for years. If you have specific questions about La Conchita, I would be happy to try to answer them. We have also stayed at Las Ranitas, which is more expensive and has its pros and cons.

Can anyone provide any more information on Cabanas La Conchita. I'm looking to book here for the xmas/new years holiday and would love more info:
Do the Cabanas have A/C or Fan?
Do the Cabanas have electric?
Does each Cabana have their own bath/shower?
How are the rates?
How would you rate the service?
Is the property well maintained/clean?
Thank you in advance for your help!

I've not been there, but some of the questions you have can be answered by visiting www.differentworld.com and going to Cabanas Las Conchitas.

Kasai18-

I think that La Conchita is closed from Christmas until New Year. We tried to book for the holidays back in May and were told by Different World that the family that owns it uses it over the holidays.

By the way, it is amazing!

Best Regards,
Gem

hi there...
I will be in Tulum in a month, and will stay at 'Cabanas la Conchita.'
Since it is not a full-size hotel, I was wondering how much they provide in terms of towels, toiletries, etc.
It is really hard to contact the Cabanas. So I hope somebody on this forum can help... Thanks.
