Budget Lodging In CR

I am wondering if anyone can recommend any good budget lodging options for Manual Antonio and Jaco.
Preferably something that is accessible by foot from the town bus stop.
Thanks.

Pick up a Lonely Planet CR guide book avail at any Borders or B&N bookstore. They sort lodgings by inexpensive, medium and high-end. You should find plenty of places in Jaco very close to the beach. Good luck and have fun!

Or better yet log into the Lonely Planet's website --- address for their discussion forum is "http://thorntree.lonelyplanet.com" (No 'www').
I just returned from Hotel La Colina in the MA area. Very nice people running the hotel and the rooms were nice--though a bit small. The breakfast, which was included, was good. Good value!

I also think you should try the Lonely Planet site. They cater to 'budget travelers'. If you're really on a budget, you can go much cheaper than Costa Verde. Good luck!
