Breakfast at Buena Vista Villas-CR?

I just booked a Buena Vista Villa and I read a post that said the included breakfast there is only fruit delivered to your room. Is this still true? I thought it was breakfast at the restaurant shared with Tulemar?? Anyone know? Thanks.

It's true, BVV quests no longer get the included breakfast at Tulemar's restaurant. You get fruit & breads delivered to your door each morning. You fill out a card on arrival telling them what you want each day.

It's actually one of the reasons we opted to stay at Tulemar instead of BVV our last time around. BVV does have a few BBQ's at thiner pool for guests...or at least they did last time we were there. Not sure if it's nightly or what, you may want to contact them to find out.

I called the 800 line for Buena Vista and was told that guests do get breakfasts at the Tulemar restaurant. I'll let you know when we get back if that is the case or not. Maybe they changed it back. Dunno.

We just got back from Buena Vista Villas and Casas and the Tulecafe breakfast was included. It was buffet and it had eggs, rice and beans, pastries, breads, fruits, cereals, sometimes chicken, bacon, ham, sausages, etc.. coffee, juices, hot cocoa. After about 3 days it got a little old though but the wait staff was so nice and gracious and the view...enormous!
