Brazil or Thailand!?

Hi, I hope by posting this message I can get some answers to my longtime dilemma and finally decide where to go! I have 2-3 weeks of vacation this year (the rest work pressure) and I am 50/50 between going to Brazil or Thailand(Bankok and the southern islands). I am a single, 30, adventurous guy and would like to enjoy beach, good foods, relaxation time, adventurous activites and especially meeting women. OK I am not bad looking either! But I am interested to meet friendly people and nice girls during my trip. (Yes, everything in one bowl!!)
If you have been to these places, I appreciate if you can give me some advice.
Thanks,
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

I've been to both Brazil (once) and Thailand (3 times) and both are great. Both places have good beaches, excellent food, plenty of adventurous activities and yes... many beautiful women . It's a tough decision... With that said, I'm off to Argentina and Brazil in October and then to Southeast Asia next February.

I've taken a lot of photos during my travels and if you're interested, point your browser at community.webshots.com/user/jbabos2. My regular e-mail address is on the site if you would like to e-mail me for more details.

John
I've been to both multiple times and agree they are great places. My preference would be Brasil. IMO, Thailand has much better beaches for swimming and underwater activities but Brasil has an feeling of enjoying life to the fullest.

Have fun

Anthony, after seeing both, you really can't go wrong with either. I'm not sure where you are planning to travel from, but Rio de Janeiro has the advantage of having the city right on the beach. It's very easy to get around and be in the middle of the action. My advice would be to simply choose one and start planning your trip. Once you're on the ground, things are relatively inexpensive, in my view -- probably a bit cheaper in Thailand, though. Be sure to check visa requirements for Brazil from your country of origin. Whichever you choose, you can go to the other place later and then make your own comparison. They're both fabulous!

Happy Contrails!

Thanks guys. I take your advise and just go to both of them, one at a time! But I heard so much about Thailand for which is cheap and everything; however, I hear Brazil is expensive and dangerous!?

For safety and cost, go with Thailand, for girls that you do not pay for Brazil.

If you want the most amazing, exotic and gorgeous beaches you've ever seen anywhere go to Thailand and the Phi Phi islands. Incredible. Lots of beautiful woman there too.

Brazil is not nearly as exotic, unless you do the Amazon, which is a fabulous trip. Check out Ariau Towers, you can go Piranha fishing, do jungle treks, see pink dolphins play with monkeys. No night life though!
